In reference to daytrana patches and peeling the backing off of the patch...

 I have found that if you keep the patch stored in a cool dry place, the backing comes off without any problem.  If you do have some trouble with removing it though, I usually take the patch and put in between two ice cube trays for a few seconds ( approx..  15-20 sec.)  and then immediately remove the backing. I promise it works. I keep them on my window sill in the winter and in front of my air conditioner in the summer... good luck all.
